Streaming and web based music consumption play an increasingly important role in the contemporary digital music ecosystem. Every day music is created and shared online through different channels, creating massive amounts of data that can be transformed into revenue streams and provide valuable information for business decisions and the development of artists careers. To make this happen, the collection, administration, and analysis of this digital information is crucial.

During the panel we will take a deeper look at the current state of collection and analysis of data streams and the role of collective management organisations (CMOs) in the digital music world. Furthermore we will discuss how an accurate analysis and interpretation of data can lead to better marketing decisions and a potential revenue growth for artists, labels and managers.
