Markus Graf is the Executive Chairman of POP RLP based in Koblenz, Germany, a registered non-profit association. The POP RLP works on behalf of and with funds from the state government to support young musicians, artists and actors in the field of popular music culture. Since 2005 he is Vice-President of the State Music Council Rhineland-Palatinate, responsible for Finances and Musical Education. Since 2015 he is a board member of Bundesverband Popularmusik e.V. (BV POP). Since 2017, Markus is socially engaging in a counseling board against right-wing extremism (Beratungsnetzwerk gegen Rechtsextremismus) with focus on music in the context of youth and social care. Markus is project leader of renowned international Lahnsteiner Blues Festival since 2006 and member of the program advisory board of Rockland Radio since 2018.
