CATHERINE DECKER

Currently working at the Ministry of Culture of Luxembourg, Catherine Decker has been active in the field of culture and development for more than ten years. A lawyer by training, she has gained international  experience while working in Foreign Affairs and United Nations. She has recently been nominated Secretary general of the National Commission for cooperation with UNESCO. Ms. Decker has a strong profile in artist counseling, public policy and legal practice, designing support schemes as well as managing development projects. Over the years she has built know-how in coordination of diverse projects and resource mobilization. Furthermore, she is a keen defender of human rights and gender parity, two topics for which she gladly spends her free time in volunteer activities.
