Daniel Koch is Editor in Chief of Germany’s biggest free music magazine Intro. The magazine is based in Berlin and Cologne and recently partied hard because of its 25th anniversary. A German competitor wrote: „Finally Intro is older than their readership.“ Which might not be totally true. Before Daniel became editor in chief four years ago – at the magazine where he started as an intern once – he worked as Editor in Chief of a young Berlin citymag, was online editor for German Rolling Stone and editor for Festival Guide. While he studied Creative Writing and Cultural Journalism he was part of an indie radioshow, sold beer at Glastonbury Festival and organized union youth trips to England where he talked about pop music and politics.
